Breaking Through: Web Strategies to Win Over Millennials
Led by SAI’s Jessica Hensley and Janet Pilarski, this webinar will examine four critical areas of a college or university’s web presence that can make or break a meaningful connection with prospective students.
In our recent whitepaper, Millennial Admissions 101: The Changing Role of Digital in Undergraduate Recruitment, we shed light on the challenges that colleges and universities face in reaching and engaging today’s prospective students. Technologically savvy but short on attention, this young audience will be quick to overlook websites – and therefore schools – that don’t connect with them at first glance.
How do you reach and retain millennials?
In this webinar, we’ll examine four key areas that schools should focus on to help build a connection with prospects and convert them into applicants. These areas include:
- Visual Design
- Language & Messaging
- Social Media
For each area, we’ll show how conventional marketing techniques have become passé. Institutions that are recruiting undergraduates the same way they did even five years ago are losing ground to schools that incorporate new approaches that resonate better with the digital generation. Using examples of SAI’s recent work with higher ed clients – from small private colleges to big name universities – , we’ll demonstrate the impact that even small changes to your website can mean in recruiting this elusive demographic.
