Adding Value: A Member-Centric Approach For Transforming an Association’s Web Presence
From professional societies to trade groups to philanthropic organizations, associations serve as vibrant forums to connect, share ideas, educate and stay abreast of important trends. Whether the goal is member retention, recruitment or engagement, it is absolutely crucial for an association to demonstrate continuing value to its membership. By highlighting member achievements, projects and research you can better engage your audience and demonstrate the impact your work has on the community you serve.
This webinar will demonstrate methods to leverage your member network to strengthen your online brand -- and to ensure your members will find value whenever and however frequently they visit. Together with our client, the Association of Public and Land‑grant Universities (APLU), we will outline how we transformed the organization's web presence to highlight value, purpose and impact to its members, and how their strategies relate to the common issues faced by all associations.
The webinar will cover the following high-level topics:
- Integrating tools and resources for a seamless experience and stronger value proposition
- Engaging your member network around key content, publications and events
- Architecting a member-centric approach for highlighting achievements and promoting best practices
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen recruitment and retention
- Storytelling to advance your cause
