Today Systems Alliance, Inc. (SAI) – a software products and digital consulting firm that helps clients win in the marketplace through smart use of technology – announced the appointment of a new leadership team in its Software Products business unit.
Joshua Crone has joined SAI as Vice President and CTO, Software Products where he will lead the overall design, development and support of SAI’s software products portfolio, including the newly released Acadia™ Performance Platform, web content management system SiteExecutiveTM and video content management product Media ExecutiveTM. Prior to SAI, Josh spent nine years at publisher Penguin Random House where he lead the Technical Services team, most recently with a focus on the global merger integration of Random House and Penguin Books.
SAI also announced the promotion of three product team members to lead various groups inside the software products business. Michael Grove will lead the core development team for all products in the portfolio. Mike joined SAI in 2009 and has made substantial engineering contributions to all of SAI’s products over the last six years.
Joseph Giuffrida will lead the User Experience team within the software products business. Joe joined SAI in 2009 and has worked both in the software products business unit and in SAI’s Digital consulting practice, most recently with a focus on creating a flexible, mobile friendly user experience for early adopter Acadia customers.
Ashton Severns has assumed responsibility for the Customer Support team as well as for the technology platforms that support SAI’s SaaS business and product development teams. Ashton’s team provides consistently highly rated customer support services to a wide variety of SaaS and managed service customers in multiple industries.

SAI expects to add software engineers, automated testing staff, product managers and support team members to the team during 2015 in its Hunt Valley headquarters office.
