Systems Alliance, Inc. (SAI), a digital and IT consulting firm helping clients build, assess and optimize online properties, today announced the addition of Mark Stirling as Principal Consultant in the IT Strategy and Operations practice.
Stirling joins the SAI team with more than eight years of experience as an Information Professional Officer in the United States Navy. For the past three years, Stirling served as the Associate Director for Client Services and IT Security at the US Naval Academy.
Prior to the Naval Academy, Stirling was stationed in Atsugi, Japan as the Information Systems Department head and was responsible for a team of 15 technicians supporting Carrier Air Wing Five. During his tour there, he personally supervised the implementation of communication tools to support relief efforts immediately following the 2011 tsunami that hit Japan.
Stirling graduated from Pennsylvania State University, where he was awarded a four year Naval ROTC scholarship, with a degree in Information Systems and Technology. Stirling also earned a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems and Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
Following his active duty service, former Lieutenant Stirling saw SAI as the next logical step in evolving his IT leadership, security and problem solving skills. “I wanted to find a position that would allow me to leverage my experience and skillsets to solve complex IT challenges,” expressed Mark. “Joining SAI was an easy decision because it provided me the opportunity to work directly with clients and deliver exceptional solutions to their problems.”
At SAI, Stirling will be focused on delivering CIO Advisory services to clients in the areas of Business Continuity, IT Org Design and Development and IT Strategy.
