Systems Alliance, Inc. (SAI), a digital and IT consulting firm helping clients build, assess, and optimize online properties and IT operations, today announced it is substantially expanding its Internship Program.
The internship program at SAI attracts college students and recent graduates with emerging technology, consulting and business skills and a strong drive to grow professionally. Candidates are selected on the basis of academic performance, motivation and alignment with the firm’s staff development approach. Many prior interns have become members of SAI’s Product Team and consulting practices.
“SAI’s internship program provides us with an opportunity to identify early candidate team members that can evolve into top tier digital and IT consultants, software engineers and business development professionals” said Ric Hughes, President and CEO. “The exceptional quality of interns from Stevenson University, York College and other local institutions and the number of interns that we have subsequently invited to join the SAI team confirms the value of the degree programs at these institutions.”
Last month SAI announced the general availability of its newest software product, Acadia™ Performance Platform, which is being called a game-changer for organizational productivity and is already driving significant additions to SAI’s product team. Four recent additions to the Acadia Product and Business Development teams have joined the firm this summer.
- Donny Andrews, Support Engineer – A recent graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Computer Science, Donny joined the SAI Product team and is further developing his technology and problem solving skills as a member of the Product Support team.
- Karl Hoffmeister, Market Intelligence Research Intern - A senior at Stevenson University, Karl has joined the Business Development team with a focus on the identification of new markets and industry vertical use cases for Acadia.
- Scott Forster, Product Team Intern – A senior in UMBC’s Computer Engineering program, Scott is working with other team members on improvements to SAI’s automated testing approach.
- Travis Eichelberger, Product Team Intern – A recent graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Travis joined the SAI Product team and is also working on improvements to SAI’s software testing approach.
“Being an integral part in the development of a new product like Acadia is a huge opportunity," said Travis Eichelberger. “I’m incredibly appreciative for the internship program at SAI that allows me to expand my knowledge and skill set working on a product that will play a vital role in the company’s growth.”
