Systems Alliance, a digital and IT consulting firm helping clients build, assess and optimize online properties, today announced it had received a 2013 Web Marketing Association WebAward for the website it designed and developed for Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC).
As a rapidly growing public institution, GGC realized that a strong web presence that aligned well with the brand of the school was essential for continued success. Providing students with a clear vision of what GGC has to offer was a main goal of the project. Systems Alliance helped GGC attain this goal with a website redesign.
The redesigned website, built in the SiteExecutive CMS, launched late last summer and includes new information architecture, a vibrant design that captures the spirit of the college, and leverages responsive web design (RWD) techniques for an optimal user experience.
In its 17th year, the WebAwards competition recognizes the best websites across 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development. More than 1,500 entries from 40 countries in 96 industry categories were received. Entries were judged in categories including design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.
