Systems Alliance, a digital and IT consulting firm helping clients build, assess, and optimize online properties and IT operations, today announced it has been awarded under the Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Software by the state of Maryland. The contract covers Systems Alliance SiteExecutive and MediaExecutive software, installation services, training and maintenance as well as software and services from its partner, Symantec. The fifteen year contract term will run from October 1, 2012 thru September 30, 2027.
The new contract will allow Systems Alliance to provide Maryland state agencies with a complete set of software capabilities, helping to solve IT and business challenges including creating more value and cost savings. Identical terms will be extended to other local governments that wish to use the COTS framework for their procurements. Under the terms of its Master Contractor agreement, Systems Alliance is qualified to provide services and products in three functional areas described below:
- Functional Area I –COTS software from Systems Alliance and Symantec
- Functional Area II – Installation and/or Training services
- Functional Area III – Manufacturer’s Software Maintenance
