Systems Alliance, a Web and IT consulting firm helping clients build, assess and optimize online properties and IT operations, today announced the successful conclusion of Empower 2011 SiteExecutive™ user conference. SiteExecutive clients from across the United States gathered for two and a half days of education, networking and fun. Attendees had their choice of over 20 breakout sessions in 3 tracks specifically geared toward developers, designers, and content managers. Several members of the Systems Alliance team shared their expertise in topics ranging from Responsive Design to jQuery and best practices in Web Typography.
“The quality of presentations that I attended was high, and the presenters were engaging,” said Mary Beth Hansen, CIO, Center for Biosecurity UPMC. “Also obvious was how proud members of the SAI team are of their work and company and how much thought and creativity the whole team puts into what they do.”
An addition to the conference this year was the first annual SiteExecutive Excellence Awards, intended to showcase outstanding client achievement. Client websites were nominated and adjudicated in three categories: Best Design, Best Mobile and Best Custom Functionality. Winners included Salt Lake County Library Services for best design, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School for best mobile site and American Public University System for best custom functionality.
“Networking and finding out what others are doing was extremely beneficial,” said Annette Kennedy, MDTA. “I also enjoyed meeting the staff, especially the support team who has helped me on many, many occasions.”
Systems Alliance has already begun planning for next year’s conference, scheduled for the second week of November 2012. Additional details will be available soon.
