Systems Alliance, a Web and IT consulting firm helping clients build, assess and optimize online properties and IT operations, today announced it was sponsoring Career Fair 2011 at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) on October 5, 2011. The event is the largest job fair of the year held at UMBC, and is expected to attract as many as 1,200 area students.
This year alone Systems Alliance has hired four recent college graduates for full-time positions on its SiteExecutive™ Web content management software development team. The company has also employed students from UMBC, MICA and University of Maryland as interns working on software development and Web consulting projects.
"With high-tech job growth projected to be strong in Maryland, and our own hiring continuing at a brisk pace, we are fortunate to be located in proximity to a number of colleges and universities like UMBC with strong programs in computer science, information design and related fields,” said Ric Hughes, president and CEO, Systems Alliance. “We’re happy to support UMBC by sponsoring the Career Fair and look forward to sharing more information about Systems Alliance with attendees.”
Systems Alliance invites UMBC students to learn more about its current career opportunities in software development, Web development, IT consulting and technology sales and marketing, and meet team members at the 2011 Career Fair on October 5th.
