Systems Alliance, a software development firm and systems integrator providing high-value IT and business consulting services, today announced that its client, American Public University System (APUS), purchased an unlimited enterprise license for the SiteExecutive™ Web content management system (CMS).
“Since initially licensing SiteExecutive, we have greatly expanded the scale and scope of our Web operations to help keep pace with our anticipated growth,” said Dale Young, CIO, APUS. “During that time, it has provided a reliable and flexible platform for creating, managing and delivering diverse Web content.”
APUS has used SiteExecutive for all of its public Websites. The purchase of the unlimited license now allows the school to expand its Web content management infrastructure as-needed to accommodate future growth without incurring additional licensing fees.
“APUS has excelled in its efforts to engage and attract students via the Web,” said John Shin, director of SiteExecutive Development. “Systems Alliance is very pleased to expand our relationship to help them further enhance their interactive marketing capabilities.”
Beyond SiteExecutive licenses, Systems Alliance has worked with APUS to enhance the effectiveness of its Websites, providing consulting, design, development and project management services. This work includes the development of several industry-specific SiteExecutive modules, including:
- An integrated class schedule that extracts and displays information from APUS’ content management system pertaining to program requirements, course offerings, schedules, faculty and textbook requirements
- A transfer credit evaluation application that allows applicants to assess whether their coursework from other institutions will transfer to APUS
