Noted Attorney Mark Jensen Joins SAI Advisory Board
Jensen’s years of service to commercial clients and work on causes important to the quality of healthcare will inform SAI’s market positioning of its consulting practice and the Acadia performance platform.
Hunt Valley, MD – 01/29/2019 - SAI, a Baltimore-based software and consulting firm, today announced that leading attorney and healthcare advocate, Mark Jensen has joined the company as a member of its Advisory Board. Jensen brings deep knowledge of how the Acadia platform’s one best way approach can have a positive impact on the quality of care and financial stability at healthcare organizations.
"We developed our Acadia platform to help organizations manage high levels of complexity and improve their operations and outcomes. Healthcare is an area rife with complexity, where we can have a positive impact on the patient experience. Mark’s service on the MedStar board and his experience as a former President of the Maryland Hospital Association has given him unique insight into how we can best support our healthcare colleagues as they struggle to improve patient care and outcomes" said Ric Hughes, CEO at SAI.
Jensen brings to SAI years of experience as an attorney helping organizations, of all sizes, with a range of legal and business issues. Jensen’s work at the firm he co-founded, Bowie & Jensen LLC, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, and counseling established private companies on decisions that advance critical corporate objectives. He is also engaged as an active board member for several businesses and nonprofits in the Baltimore region.
“Organizations of all sizes strive for consistency to drive up quality, safety, customer satisfaction and profitability. To build an organization that delivers high quality results every time, you need consistent training. I believe the work SAI is doing with its Acadia platform can help facilitate that consistency in a number of fields, particularly healthcare,” said Jensen.
Jensen’s practical experience and energy stretches well beyond his work. He supports numerous non-profit organizations and foundations, acts as a foster parent to infants with serious medical conditions, rides motorcycles and holds a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo. Click here to read more.
