Healthcare Leader and Advocate Ron Werthman Joins SAI Advisory Board
Werthman’s years of experience working to improve healthcare from within will inform SAI’s market positioning of the Acadia product platform
Hunt Valley, MD – 01/07/2019 - SAI, a Baltimore-based software and consulting firm, today announced that leading health systems finance and operations proponent, Ronald Werthman has joined the company as a member of its Advisory Board. Werthman will work closely with SAI’s board and leadership team on market positioning of the Acadia product platform to most healthcare organizations.

Werthman brings to SAI more than 40 years of experience in healthcare and higher education. For the last 25 years of his career, he has been at Johns Hopkins serving in various leadership roles. He has served as the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Johns Hopkins Medicine, as well as chief financial officer for the school of medicine and senior vice president of finance and treasurer/chief financial officer for the Johns Hopkins Health System and The Johns Hopkins Hospital. While serving in these roles at Hopkins, Werthman was focused on continuously implementing system changes to improve patient care and make the organization a better place to work.
Before joining Johns Hopkins, Werthman was vice president/chief financial officer/treasurer of Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He also held similar positions at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas; Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, New York; and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
