Dan Greller

Greller serves as Managing Director and Chief Information Officer of Artisan Partners, an independent investment management firm. Prior to joining the firm in February 2014, he was president at Bluesafe Consulting, an independent consultancy advising clients on technology strategy.
Greller has over 35 years’ experience building, transforming and leading global IT organizations. He has led a broad array of successful programs including corporate integrations, outsourcing initiatives, data center buildouts and migrations, and advanced technology implementations.
His background includes roles as CTO and Co-CIO for Legg Mason, Head of infrastructure for Ann Taylor Stores, Head of NY IT Operations for JP Morgan and programmer for trading systems at CS First Boston.
