Automated evaluation tools are used to scan your site to validate whether or not it passes specific web accessibility standards. They are good for getting a quick, cursory look at potential problems but typically find the least number of issues.
Based on industry best practice, an expert review of your site finds issues that automated evaluation tools are not capable of identifying. As part of this process, your site is tested with a screen reader, keyboard only, and text only, as well as reviewed for a variety of factors that may pose web accessibility challenges.
Involving people with disabilities to test your site is the most efficient way to find web accessibility issues. Our testing facilitators and moderators will observe, record, coordinate, and summarize findings for you.
After your audit and evaluation is complete, your web accessibility consultant will present and review the findings with you to ensure you have a thorough understanding of the issues and options to remedy them.
