Senior IT Leader with Deep Financial Services Experience Will Provide Strategic Insight and Advice for Expanding Systems Alliance's Footprint Within Financial Services Sector
BALTIMORE, September 14, 2009 – Systems Alliance, Inc., a regional systems integrator providing high-value IT and business consulting services, today announced Jim Mazarakis, principal with TechVizion and formerly CIO at T. Rowe Price, has joined the company's board of advisors. With nearly 30 years of experience working with financial services and consulting organizations, Mazarakis will share his insights and advice with Systems Alliance's senior management, helping them better serve the company's portfolio of asset management clients.

Earlier this year, Mazarakis launched TechVizion, a consultancy which helps CIOs at mid-market enterprises implement and benefit from best practices that have proven effective at Fortune 500 enterprises. Before going out on his own, Mazarakis served on senior leadership teams for two global financial services firms, most recently as CIO for T. Rowe Price and earlier as divisional CIO at JP Morgan Investment Management and Private Banking.
Among his many accomplishments, Mazarakis has led large-scale international IT projects and merger and acquisition teams at Capital One Financial and Goldman Sachs. Mazarakis has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems from Polytechnic University. In 2007, he was recognized as a "Top 10 Innovator" by Information Week in its annual ranking of the Information Week 500.
