Awards Reflect the Growing Strength of Firm’s Web Effectiveness Practice and Capabilities of its SiteExecutive Web Content Management Software
SPARKS, Md., November 17, 2008 – Systems Alliance, Inc., a regional systems integrator providing high-value IT and business consulting services, today announced it had received two 2008 Web Marketing Association “WebAwards” for Websites it developed for the World Affairs Journal and IA&B Group Services.
“These awards reflect the growing strength of Systems Alliance’s Web Effectiveness consulting practice and capabilities of our SiteExecutive Web content management software,” said Mark Dabrowski, director, Web Effectiveness Practice, Systems Alliance. “We’re very happy to share this award with our clients Heldref Publications and IA&B Group, and honored by the industry recognition.”
Now in its 12th year, the WebAwards competition evaluates more than 2,400 Websites from 45 countries and then names the best sites in 96 industry categories. Sites are judged by three or more industry experts on seven criteria: Website design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use.
The Website for World Affairs Journal, Heldref Publication’s quarterly international affairs journal, received the Publishing Standard of Excellence Award. A judge noted, "It's an online version of its offline counterpart. Stories are simple to find, easy to navigate, and accessible to all (including a simple text resizing tool).”
Systems Alliance also received an Associations Standard of Excellence Award for the Website it developed for the IAB Group, an association for insurance brokers doing business in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Commenting on the Award, Barb Wise, vice president, Programs for IA&B Group said, “Getting this recognition from the Web Marketing Association is great, but what really matters is what our members think. For them, the new site delivers the information and services they need to succeed – and for that, we’re very pleased with the SiteExecutive Web content management software and consulting services we’ve received from Systems Alliance.”
