Richard McClain Will Lead Company’s Knoxville Office SPARKS, Md. and Knoxville, Tenn., October 21, 2008 – Systems Alliance, Inc., a regional systems integrator providing high-value IT and business consulting services, today announced Richard McClain, formerly director of information technology infrastructure with Jewelry Television, has joined the company as a business development executive. With over 20 years of experience in enterprise IT administration, management and consulting, McClain will lead Systems Alliance’s operations across eastern Tennessee from a new office in Knoxville. “When it comes to building client relationships with IT executives, Rich McClain’s success managing a complex, fast-moving enterprise and entrepreneurial spirit set him apart as an advisor and business development executive,” said Ric Hughes, president and CEO, Systems Alliance. “We’re delighted he has joined Systems Alliance and believe he will have great success leading our business in eastern Tennessee.” During his tenure at Jewelry Television, McClain was responsible for all aspects of the retail giant’s IT operations. In addition to rebuilding the organization’s infrastructure, McClain has hands-on experience addressing major IT/business challenges including PCI compliance, data governance, supply chain management, security controls, and ITIL practices around change management, asset management, and service level management. Before taking over IT operations at Jewelry Television, McClain held senior IT positions with Eastman Chemical. Prior to Eastman, McClain ran an IT consulting firm where his clients included Dell, Siemens and the Shop at Home Network.
