Rick Geddes is associate professor and director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Policy Analysis and Management at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. From August 2004 to July 2005 he was a senior staff economist on the President's Council of Economic Advisors in Washington, DC. He is currently a commissioner on the National Surface Transportation Policy and Revenue Study Commission. An authority on corporate governance and the regulation of industry, Geddes' work has been published in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Regulatory Economics and numerous other journals.
