Position Overview:

Systems Alliance has an immediate opening for an experienced Web developer.

In this role, you will join a rapidly growing team of Web Developers, Project Managers and Business Analysts / Web Consultants who collectively design, develop and deliver Web, intranet and mobile sites built on our SiteExecutive Web Content Management platform.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Determine client requirements
Develop solutions that extend existing CMS functionality or deliver new functionality not currently available
Research and conduct all aspects of technical feasibility, analysis and requirements gathering including hardware/software analysis, user interviews to determine project requirements, and offer professional solutions concerning project adjustments and changes
Manage the full software development lifecycle from concept to launch, including project feasibility, analysis, development, data migration, systems integration and consolidation, implementation, documentation, scheduling, user training, GUI and SEO design, and maintenance.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related experience or equivalent of 5+ years of related experience designing and developing websites
Strong capabilities with JavaScript, CSS layout, jQuery, HTML/XHTML, XML/XSLT, ColdFusion, Dreamweaver, PHP, Photoshop and other development and design tools
Database management and migration utilizing MySQL and MS SQL Server

Other Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of user experience and Web development best practices
Prior experience in a client-facing role
Ability to work independently and provide excellent follow-through on tasks
Detail-oriented and proactive
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Experience with site navigation and traffic analysis tools, Flash and Section 508/WCAG are helpful but not required
